  12. It is SCSI based.  Uses a PCI slot.  Is 10 bit encoded rather than the PAR's 8 
  13. bit.  Adheres to CCIR-601 (I still have to look that up - I may have the 
  14. number wrong).  Is component video start to finish.  Uses a daughter card 
  15. rather than a TBC-IV for video recording(capture). Allows a 500-600 block 
  16. limit.  Looks DAMN good by all accounts so far.  Has higher color resolution 
  17. than D1 and the same video resolution as D1.  Its Free!!  (<--- Blatant lie - 
  18. sorry.)  Actually the MSRP is $1995 for the Perception and $995 for the 
  19. daughtercard.  You must purchase the SCSI drive separately.  Ships June 1.
